I am a story gatherer and teller. Most of the stories I am interested in retelling and/or crafting have one foot in history and another in the immediate. Previously used, discarded and [sustainably sourced] natural materials hold rich histories that I don’t always get to know, but they speak to me nonetheless. Gathering my materials and using both traditional and impromptu organic approaches are equally intrinsic and instrumental in getting to the stories I want to tell.
